our process
Step by step, we take you through what it takes to make your vision, within your budget, come to life.
STEP 1 Inquire
Inquire through our get in touch form, or email us.
STEP 2 Consultation
If we are available, we would set a date and time for Mili to give you a call for a free phone consultation.
By the time of your first call, you would have prepared your photo references, general look and feel for your florals, and your budget-goal.
Your follow-up would be a no obligation estimate document and visual presentation.
STEP 3 Book & Confirm
If you decide to choose us as your florist vendor, you would follow up with Mili to request an invoice and confirmation document to book your oder.
Purchase is made through the document provided.
We are a first-booked, first served vendor. We do not work in deposits. Your order is confirmed and onto our schedule once it is paid in full.
STEP 4 Prep & Fulfillment
Your finalization date tends to be five weeks before the fulfillment date. From the day you book and through your finalization date, you can make as many adjustments as you would like to your order.
We will be sure to keep in touch before your finalization date so that all details are perfect.
Mili will provide you with a final check-in a week or two before fulfillment.

If you have images of florals that spark the look and feel you love, we help prioritize and focus to generate a list and initial mood board to help visualize what you truly want for your day. If you are unsure what to choose, we are happy to walk through options.
repurpose
Most any arrangement installed for a ceremony or cocktail hour can be moved as the event progresses. We don’t want a single stem to go to waste! We would work to make sure everyone is on the same page for you day-of, to complete and perfect any tasks to repurpose.


consider table top rentals
Added details provide dimension and beauty to any reception, with minimum added costs.
- We have a variety of candle holder styles, and table top pieces to rent at reasonable, flat-rate prices.
- Floral vessels are included and considered into the total price of each arrangements.
- We offer ideas to sourcing additional table styling options.

Have peace of mind knowing that we understand both your vision and your budget, and we’re always working to honor both. This is why we do what we do! Floral pricing is shaped by market costs and seasonal availability, and greenery is no longer an inexpensive fallback—those are simply the realities of the industry. If a particular bloom isn’t in season, or you prefer to focus on a color palette rather than specific flower types, we’ll thoughtfully select florals that achieve the same look and feel while staying aligned with your style, budget, and overall aesthetic.

We always recommend investing in your most premium stems where they matter most and make the greatest visual impact. Depending on your event, that might mean prioritizing a bride’s bouquet, a focal ceremony installation, a statement at the bar, or tabletop centerpieces.

FAQs
What areas do you service?
Glorified Hobby is located in San Diego County. Most of our work is local, but we have successfully serviced many weddings outside California.
Do you have a minimum?
There is no minimum order price to work with us.
This fact is a driving force behind our company’s growth. Karen and Mili have worked with clients as wedding and event vendors for several years, and understand the huge demand for what we offer: florist services with on-trend design, real experience, and excellent care, with the most reasonable pricing possible.
How far in advance do we need to book?
We recommend booking at least four months in advance, but the sooner the better as our calendar fills quickly! We are busy wedding vendors, and only take on as many events per weekend that we can handle within our high standards.
Payment in full to book must be made at least two months in advance, with any adjustments made by the finalization date: five weeks before fulfillment.
Do you arrange faux flowers?
We can place items provided. However, we only source and work in real flowers and greenery from local wholesalers: both fresh and preserved.
Do you offer set-price packages?
It is not possible for us to offer set-priced packages since we strive to be budget-oriented, on a per client basis.
Every wedding and event-vision is unique. There are many variables we keep in mind about the cost and servicing of flowers. We encourage you to find the style (including approximate sizing and shape) of arrangements that suit you and your venue so that we can work out the details for follow-up after our initial consultation.
