The immersive theme of being surrounded by flowers was an extension of a bridal party luncheon. To see our work for this event from last year, please visit the beehive bridal party shower post.

The library seating area would have four long tables to either side of the center table – where the bride to be and her closest friends would sit with the statement centerpiece. Behind her would be one of two decorated mantle installations.

The centerpiece installation was built from the vase and up and into the fixture – for a look that felt both refined and wonderfully organic, as it overflowed with softness, movement, and the beauty of spring.

The larger, courtyard fireplace mantle was surrounded on all three sides by an installation that was created onsite.
Large centerpieces were placed on the circular dining tables in the courtyard. The tall centerpiece shown (much like the buffet piece) was moved to the welcome space, and replaced by a large round centerpiece. I didn’t have much time to take photos since I was Karen’s assistant, and liaison to the event coordination team, helping ensure every detail was perfectly placed.

The Inn’s Cafe was opened to the event for fresh coffee, and to flow out onto the courtyard space for casual seating. Small-medium centerpieces were placed on the smaller circular tables.

The bar featured this gorgeous arrangement – lower and longer than the other taller pieces.

Colors: Soft, romantic shades of ivory, blush, champagne, and pale peach with fresh touches of spring green
Some of the stems: Cascading white phalaenopsis orchids, a variety of garden and spray roses, tulips, hydrangea, and amaranthus
White porcelain vessels for bud vases, medium centerpieces, and long arrangements were purchased from the Williams Somoma Honeycomb vase collection.

always beautiful work: custom cake by Aubrey – master baker, designer, and owner of Heritage & Co.

All photography featured in this post was captured by me, also serving as Karen’s day-of liaison to the event coordination team, making sure everything was placed to perfection. Karen led the floral design and production, orchestrating a team of eight to bring each stem, arrangement and the client’s total vision to life.
Behind the scenes, we were all smiles! Karen made this happen! I am proud to call her my dear friend and sister, and love to watch her shine – as she leads with such talent, generosity, and care. Talented is an understatement! Her artistry, calm direction, and exceptional eye for floristry made every detail feel effortless and beyond-beautiful.
Thanks for being here! With love always, Mili
