I’m excited to share the color story we brought to life for one of our favorite spring weddings, with florals thoughtfully curated by our Glorified Hobby team and desserts crafted by Mili’s Sweets.
Throughout this post, you’ll see stunning photography by the incredibly talented (and genuinely wonderful to work with) Stephanie and Cody of Essence of June. Alongside their beautiful and intentional images, I’ve sprinkled in a few of my own. I still can’t get over the way they captured the overflowing love and joy surrounding Tianna and Christian’s day. We won’t ever forget it!
This wedding held an especially meaningful place in my heart. Watching my own family walk down the aisle brings a whole new depth to this work – and Karen and I truly went all in. Before we talked about the size or spaces for her wedding, the first thing Tianna knew, and had ready with a mood board, were all the colors she envisioned.
Vibrant tones would be woven into all wedding flowers and details, with the main color palette worn and carried by the bridal party.

broken arch
A broken arch is a structure we bring from our own collection. It consists of two asymmetrical pieces, left open-ended and deconstructed, for two intentionally uneven heights. These detailed give organic flow, and visual appeal.
the rose petal coverage
If you were wondering what full aisle petal coverage is, this is it! Tianna chose all white, to match her dress, seating choice, and pops from her bouquet, as a contrast to the natural greens of the venue, and saturated colors of her flowers.
Mothers held micro bouquets in a mix of colors. Bride’s mom (one of my sisters and best friends) represented “something blue.”

Large arrangements featured huckleberry greenery, with matching vibrant pops from the arch.
from ceremony to sweetheart
All florals were repurposed to be enjoyed from wedding start of ceremony, to the finish of reception.
I cannot get over how well Essence of June captured the colors and these precious moments!
Tianna’s bouquet
Tianna’s bouquet stood apart with its own distinct palette – soft and tonal with no greenery, more white blooms, and touch of cool blue from the delphinium.
This bridal bouquet, was a full texture-bomb, with 360 degree beauty, tied with her Uncle Joey.
the bouts
The groom was in pink, and each of the groomsmen had boutonnieres to match their tie, and coordinating bridesperson.
bud vases
Packed with primary and secondary colors of the palette, an eclectic combination of styled glass bud vases were sprinkled at the welcome table, and throughout the reception tables.
For reception tables, huckleberry was was the greenery, placed as the runner on farm tables.

ring keepsake
I wanted my Goddaughter to always be able to carry and remember her wedding flowers, so I made a ring made with clippings.
