Abundant love & care went into our work for Jessica and Adam’s wedding at The Darlington House in La Jolla. We were their florist via Glorified Hobby, and dessert caterer via Mili’s Sweets.
summer color
The Timm’s wedding at Twin Oaks Gardens was filled with summer-color and sweets on our catered dessert table. While I share photos of our work, I’m putting exclamation-marks on the flowers(!!!), and officially-announcing that Glorified Hobby (my florist business) has expanded to provide full-scale services for events and weddings. Our hearts and full and excited!
floral feast
Floral-feast was the theme to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday. I hosted a ladies-luncheon, surrounded by laughter, flowers, cake, and some of the wonderful moms and daughters in her life.
boho bliss
Karen of Glorified Hobby created boho bliss in neutral tones, touches of warm color, and gorgeous texture – with wedding flowers for Allegra and Dave at Tivoli in Fallbrook. All photographs by Jessica Di Bella.
The Nielsens 10.01.21
Hayley and Riley were married at Twin Oaks Gardens Estate, on 10/01/21, and we were overjoyed to cater their wedding cake and dessert table, filled with an assortment of mini cupcakes for their guests.
lilacs and roses for Nonna
It felt so amazing to make a special floral arrangement for my mom, to celebrate Mother’s Day. It was a gift for me to even have my hands on fresh flowers during quarantine! It has been a while! I swooped up some of her all-time favorite flowers: Lilacs, Roses and Dusty Miller.

At the same time, I was super excited to finally get my hands on the extra flowers I swooped up, to arrange just for fun, and just for me.

Details and a little story about the wildflowers used to make a ‘summertime-backyard’ inspired arrangement.
Nonna’s gardenia flower crown
Today is Nonna’s 76th birthday! What a treasure! I’m looking back on the fun we had with the gardenia flower crown I made this spring.
bursting birthday floral
Bursting with color and natural beauty, all of the colors of the rainbow are here in the two birthday bouquet arrangements I designed – one for delivery in San Marcos and one as an early birthday gift to myself.

My mom likes to say this phrase when she sees a lot of green. It’s so sweet, and she learned it as a little girl, growing up in Italy: “Verde. La speranza non se perde, con il verde.” Translated: “Green….
a look back at my daughter’s First Holy Communion
It’s that time of year again – First Holy Communion season. I have really enjoyed the opportunities I’ve been given to make cakes and special desserts for this celebration. It reminds me of when my sweet daughter had her special day. I…
