Glorified Hobby is made up of two expert wedding vendors and a trusted circle of professional assistants. Karen and Mili have each fulfilled literally hundreds of weddings and events. With GH, we have a partnership that easily-clicks. We both give our all, care deeply, and genuinely love what we do.
About fifteen years ago, we met when I was referred to Karen for an event she was dessert-catering through Mili’s Sweets. That introduction sparked a sister-like friendship of support and gratitude.
We would collaborate regularly, referring clients to one another, and working side-by-side on countless weddings and events, cultivating trust and lasting relationships in the industry. With all of my regular phone consultations for wedding clients, I recognized a clear need and void in San Diego’s high demand wedding market: high-quality florals at reasonable prices, without a required minimum. Based on our set-up, and love for working together, it was a no-brainer to make an official partnership.
In January 2019, we took the leap to launch
Glorified Hobby florist services.
We bring expertise, passion, care, and creativity to every event -making Glorified Hobby a true “vendor treasure” for both the clients and venues we work with.

Mili is the main contact of GH. She shares in the passion of floral design, and is an expert in vendor practices and client relations.
Mili is also the owner and founder of Mili’s Sweets dessert catering — both highly sought-after, preferred-vendor businesses – recognized and recommended throughout San Diego County’s wedding and event industry for 16 years.
